Field Tech - ES 542

Location: Lewisberry, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, full-time. The role includes rotating shifts, on-call emergency response, weekends, holidays, and possible out-of-town travel.

What you will do

• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in a timely manner.
• Perform hazardous waste and material cleanup under the direction of a supervisor or foreman.
• Carry out confined-space entry, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, and decontamination.
• Complete sweeping, shoveling, high-pressure washing, and other remedial activities.
• Follow health and safety policies and perform work safely in heat and cold.
• Wear required PPE and routinely lift more than 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, holidays, and an on-call emergency-response schedule.
• Ability to travel out of town when required by the service center or project.
• Ability to work under adverse weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol testing, background screening, and company auto-insurance qualification.

Nice to have

• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training.
• Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) clearance within the first 45 days when required by the division.
