Environmental Field Tech 1

Location: Baton Rouge, LA; travel to customer and environmental testing sites required, including some overnight stays

What you will do

• Travel to customer locations and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process, and test air, soil, water, and related environmental samples.
• Complete sample collection kits, field documentation, logs, forms, and database records accurately and on time.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results.
• Prepare vehicles with instruments, supplies, safety equipment, and field materials for daily operations.
• Support environmental programs, regulatory compliance, issue resolution, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related work experience, education, training, or an equivalent combination.
• One year of laboratory or environmental experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight.
• Valid driver's license required and must remain active throughout employment.
• Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime and weekend work.
