Architect (Data Centers)

Location: London, United Kingdom; full-time, regular position.

What you will do

• Plan and develop architectural projects through all stages of design under the supervision of a Project Lead or Project Manager.
• Prepare and maintain drawings, specifications, reports, and architectural contract documentation.
• Lead client, owner, internal, stakeholder, and governing-agency meetings, including code-compliance reviews.
• Coordinate single- or multidisciplinary teams from project initiation through close-out.
• Apply UK planning and building regulations, standards, and healthcare guidance.
• Participate in QA/QC and technical reviews while supporting projects in the UK and Europe.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with ARB registration.
• At least 3–5 years of practical architectural experience in the UK, including social infrastructure and/or data centre projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes; intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing and laying out architectural contract documents and specifications, with strong knowledge of building regulations and planning.
• Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, or 3-D Studio Max.
• Rhino and Grasshopper experience.
• Understanding of computational and parametric design.
• Experience or interest in sustainable design.
