DevOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for banking and finance projects.
• Manage Linux-based operating systems with a focus on availability and security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, or Puppet.
• Configure web servers, load balancers, databases, replication technologies, messaging queues, and AWS/on-premises network connectivity.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, preferably in banking and finance environments.
• High proficiency with Linux-based operating systems and scripting or application languages including Bash, Python, PHP, Perl, Java, or Go.
• AWS Associate Certification is required.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins or GitLab CI, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with Apache, Nginx, FPM, Node, load balancers, AWS RDS, MariaDB, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, replication, and messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of the OSI model, AWS Transit Gateway, basic on-premises networking, problem-solving, and communication.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or certifications such as RHCE, ISO 27001, or PCI.
