DevOps Engineer (AWS): Building and operating end-to-end infrastructure as code and SaaS application operations in AWS with an accent on cloud management, deployment automation, database engineering, and security. Focus on designing scalable APIs and data models, orchestrating Kubernetes workloads with Terraform and Helm, and ensuring reliable 24x7 production support.
Location: Bogotá, Colombia; full-time onsite role

What you will do
- Build and operate end-to-end infrastructure as code in AWS for SaaS applications.
- Design and manage highly available, secure, and high-performing application infrastructure using EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, EBS, and CloudWatch.
- Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ansible.
- Design scalable APIs, data models, responsive front-end interfaces, and robust back-end services.
- Deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot relational databases, including backups, restores, and performance tuning.
- Provide 24x7 production support, monitoring, incident response, and operational troubleshooting across the application and infrastructure stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of total experience, including 3+ years of hands-on DevOps and infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Strong AWS knowledge, including cloud architecture and infrastructure management with Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, Python, and Linux/Unix systems.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or Aurora, including AWS RDS.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN/IPSec, firewalls, SSL, cloud security, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Experience with 24x7 SaaS production support, on-call rotations, ITIL processes, and effective communication in distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Windows Server familiarity.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
- B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering discipline.
