Assistant Manager - Optical (Retail)

Location: 3240 S Cobb Drive Suite 1000, Smyrna, GA, United States; full-time, in-store role.

What you will do

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals, including reviewing P&L reports.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, ensuring operational efficiency, quality standards, and policy compliance.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate opticians, contact lens sales associates, and receptionists where applicable.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain positive associate and customer experiences.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising, visual merchandising, reporting, and communication with store and corporate leadership.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention of store associates.

Requirements

• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to understand financial reports.
• Specific licenses or credentials may be required by state law for certain duties.
