Principal Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-performance, scalable, and secure applications with .NET Core and C#.
• Design and implement maintainable front-end and back-end systems using React or Angular and modern API patterns.
• Build AI-enabled features and services, including agentic workflows, automation, search, and chat assistants.
• Integrate AI and machine-learning models into backend services through secure, scalable APIs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code-quality practices, and continuous technical improvements.
• Mentor software engineers, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of software development experience focused on .NET Core, C#, Web API, React, MS SQL, LLMs, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and scalable system design.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, MongoDB, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
• Experience with Elasticsearch data modeling, querying, and performance optimization, as well as Agile methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrated delivery of scalable, customer-centric solutions in product-based companies, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI productivity tools for code conversion and refactoring, test generation, defect clustering, changelog summarization, and architectural blueprints.
• Experience with Python, Node.js, Angular, OpenSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Experience with LLM, MCP, RAG, and AI agent technologies.
