What you will do
- Provide administrative support, communications, public affairs, and stakeholder relations support for the Hanford Field Office.
- Develop stakeholder briefings tied to project and program milestones.
- Create technical communications and content, including fact sheets.
- Support public engagement, media activities, event planning, and HAB coordination.
- Assist program and project management activities in a regulated Environmental Management environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of communications or public affairs experience.
- Experience supporting Environmental Management sector clients is relevant; DOE experience is helpful.
- Strong writing, facilitation, media, and event-planning skills.
- Clarity, diplomacy, listening, teamwork, organization, and business communication skills.
- Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required based on the assigned work.
