What you will do

  • Provide administrative support, communications, public affairs, and stakeholder relations support for the Hanford Field Office.
  • Develop stakeholder briefings tied to project and program milestones.
  • Create technical communications and content, including fact sheets.
  • Support public engagement, media activities, event planning, and HAB coordination.
  • Assist program and project management activities in a regulated Environmental Management environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of communications or public affairs experience.
  • Experience supporting Environmental Management sector clients is relevant; DOE experience is helpful.
  • Strong writing, facilitation, media, and event-planning skills.
  • Clarity, diplomacy, listening, teamwork, organization, and business communication skills.
  • Facility Clearance is required; DOE clearance may be required based on the assigned work.
