Audit Senior Associate - TCL (Technology, Communications & Life Sciences)

Location: San Jose, California, USA; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: $100,600–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance and consulting services to technology, communications, and life sciences clients.
• Engage with clients throughout the year, gather information, complete testing, and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise audit engagement activities and review substantive testing of balance sheets and income statements.
• Assess internal control deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Discuss business recommendations with Managers and Partners based on testing and gathered information.
• Support associate development through coaching, mentoring, and the hirify.global Care and Teach philosophy.

Requirements

• 4-year degree required.
• Three years of audit or assurance experience required.
• Eligibility to obtain a CPA license and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• Skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relations, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.
• Microsoft Suite skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active progress toward completing the CPA exams.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or advanced degree in accounting.
• Three or more years of financial statement auditing experience within a public accounting firm.
• Experience in the technology, communications, or life sciences industries.
