Manager, Operations Management (12hrs Perm Dayshift) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, testing, and final testing operations for manufacturing equipment, systems, components, and subsystems.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle-time performance.
• Resolve operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer and vendor requirements.
• Optimize production capacity and improve manufacturing processes through measurement, analysis, corrective action, Lean, safety, and quality initiatives.
• Manage hiring, performance, coaching, training, career development, rewards, and disciplinary processes.

Requirements

• Formal supervisory experience with the ability to set priorities and coach employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of production and operations procedures, concepts, and related job functions.
• Ability to solve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to work extended periods standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, including work in tight spaces.
• Ability to distinguish colors, work in noisy environments, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a clean room and use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
