SAP MM/PP Business Systems Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in Phoenix, Arizona, with additional locations in Folsom or Santa Clara, California, and Hillsboro, Oregon

Salary: $124,110–$243,400 USD annual salary

What you will do

• Identify business requirements and map them to SAP and other system capabilities.
• Configure SAP MM/PP settings and options for procurement, production planning, inventory, and related processes.
• Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, including test scenarios, scripts, and result documentation.
• Analyze business procedures and design improved application solutions, workflows, specifications, and system processes.
• Troubleshoot complex production-system and application issues in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Serve as a technical lead for subsystems or small features and manage small to medium-sized projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field with 6+ years of experience; or a master’s degree with 4+ years; or a PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience with end-to-end ERP implementation projects as an SAP MM/PP consultant or functional analyst.
• Experience configuring SAP Materials Management and Production Planning, including purchasing, MRP, inventory, stock transfers, process orders, and production planning.
• Experience in business process reengineering, application solution design, and requirements engineering.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with Scrum practices.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor or manufacturing industry experience.
• SAP MM or SAP PP certification.
• Experience integrating SAP ERP with planning applications such as Blue Yonder or JDA.
• Experience with S/4HANA or reporting tools.
