Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Hai Phong City, Vietnam; frequent local travel and stays at supplier factories for several days to weeks are required

Compensation: up to VND 0 per month

What you will do

• Develop, qualify, and monitor suppliers’ quality management systems.
• Assess supplier readiness for new regulatory, legislative, and sustainability requirements.
• Support or lead supplier problem-solving and root-cause investigations to define preventive actions.
• Track and review supplier quality KPIs and coordinate prompt corrective actions.
• Train suppliers on updated hirify.global procedures and requirements and monitor implementation.

Requirements

• University or technical college degree in industrial engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
• Good English communication skills required.
• Strong presentation, decision-making, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Frequent local travel and temporary stays at supplier factories are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the toy, household product, or consumer goods industry.
• Experience with injection molding or plastics.
• Basic Mandarin speaking ability.
• Creativity and innovative thinking.
