Director, Continuous Improvement and Industry 4.0

Location: Based at the Rodange facility in Luxembourg; candidates should reside near a major manufacturing hub in Luxembourg, France, the UK, Germany, or Belgium.

Salary: EUR 116,340–186,144 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the central Enterprise Lean System function and establish regional operational and supply chain standards.
• Govern Lean Six Sigma practices including 5S, standard work audits, Kaizen, SMED, TPM, and OEE loss analysis.
• Build regional training and certification pathways for Yellow, Green, and Black Belts, as well as digital literacy programs.
• Lead strategic deployment, annual operating planning, cross-functional Catchball alignment, and executive PDCA governance.
• Drive Industry 4.0 transformation through AI-driven predictive models, shopfloor IoT integration, control tower dashboards, cognitive automation, and digital twins.
• Capture site-level innovations, standardize validated improvements, and mentor the central team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement functions at regional or global scale.
• Proven experience implementing Industry 4.0 solutions such as IoT, predictive maintenance, AI, or digital twins in manufacturing.
• Experience designing, documenting, and scaling operational systems and standards.
• Expertise in Hoshin Kanri and strategic deployment, with the ability to align shopfloor, functional, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience building capability, leading training academies, and mentoring operational leaders.
