Supply Chain Planning Architect (AI & SAP IBP)

Location: Sant Cugat del Valles, Barcelona, Spain. Full-time role with international travel required for 25–50% of the time. Candidates based in EMEA may be expected to work late shifts. Relocation is not offered.

Salary: $116,150–$182,400 USD annually for United States candidates only, plus potential bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

• Develop the architecture vision and roadmap for digital supply chain planning.
• Create system designs, architectural blueprints, and process models for SAP IBP, S/4HANA, MS4, and related applications.
• Design integration strategies, APIs, data contracts, and data flows between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Evaluate AI, analytics, data management, and other technologies to improve planning efficiency and innovation.
• Lead design governance and ensure solutions meet security, reliability, scalability, and enterprise standards.
• Partner with business leaders, enterprise architects, and engineering teams from concept through implementation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in supply chain planning solution architecture, including forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, Sales & Operations Planning, and autonomous planning.
• Deep knowledge of ERP systems, SAP IBP capabilities, integration platforms, data management, and modern software engineering.
• Required artificial intelligence acumen and experience deploying AI models for planning; direct experience building AI solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP, HANA, data lakes, and data engineering integration frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, with typically 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English required, along with advanced communication, analytical, presentation, and influencing skills.
