Location: Rockwall and Mesquite, Texas, United States. PRN, as-needed position with typical Monday–Friday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will do
- Support physicians and clinicians during patient examinations and clinical procedures.
- Escort patients, record vital signs and other visit data, and obtain required medical records.
- Prepare, stock, and disinfect examination and treatment rooms.
- Administer delegated subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
- Handle patient calls, referrals, prescriptions, rescheduling, and no-show notifications.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties, including chart preparation, reception, filing, faxing, and supervised order entry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant or nursing assistant experience: 0–3 years for Level 1, at least 3 years for Level 2, or at least 5 years in a hospital or clinic setting for Senior Level.
- Current BCLS certification required within three months of hire for Level 1; current CPR certification required for Senior Level.
- Medical assistant certification is preferred, and specific certifications may be required by state regulations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, handle and lift patients, and occasionally carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Nice to have
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Phlebotomy experience.
