TL;DR
Quality Assurance Technician (Quality Control): Conducting inspections, testing, audits, and batch record reviews for regulated medical products with an accent on product quality, process compliance, and regulatory requirements. Focus on identifying non-conformances, analyzing quality data, completing final material disposition, and supporting defect awareness across variable shift schedules.

Location: San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, United States of America; onsite, full-time work. Availability for overtime, first, second, or third shifts, 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

What you will do

  • Conduct routine physical inspections, testing, and evaluations of in-process materials and finished goods.
  • Perform product and process audits against specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Report and escalate product or process non-conformances.
  • Segregate and inspect finished goods and retain samples, delivering samples to the Finished Goods QA Lab when required.
  • Analyze quality data, execute final material disposition, and review batch records.
  • Maintain quality systems knowledge, complete required training, and support associates with defect awareness and specification requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and one year of experience in a regulated industry, or a bachelor's degree in a technical or science field.
  • Knowledge of QSRs and ISO standards.
  • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
  • Ability to work onsite across varied shifts, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and 12-hour shifts.

Nice to have

  • One year of quality assurance experience.
