Manager Quality Assurance (Biotechnology)

Location: East Greenbush, New York, United States. Onsite role with either a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. shift or a Monday–Thursday, 2:00–10:30 p.m. shift.

Salary: $92,200–$176,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead and develop QA staff supporting visual inspection, assembly, labeling, and packaging operations.
• Provide first-line response to quality and compliance issues on the manufacturing floor.
• Set team expectations, schedules, performance standards, and development goals.
• Represent Quality Assurance during regulatory inspections and explain area processes.
• Support deviations, change controls, CAPAs, investigations, evaluations, and problem resolution.
• Review, edit, and approve controlled documents and electronic master batch records; oversee visual inspection training when required.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Life Sciences or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience for Manager QA; 6+ years for Associate Manager QA. Level will be determined by experience.
• Previous people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and good documentation practices.
• Ability to work in full cleanroom attire and remove jewelry, makeup, and nail adornments during gowning.
