Quality Assurance Associate I

Location: Columbia, MO, USA; full-time onsite schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Columbia, Missouri.

What you will do

• Review and approve or reject client laboratory reports and related records for accuracy, traceability, and completeness.
• Evaluate deficiencies and inconsistencies, assess their potential compliance impact, and coordinate corrections with scientific staff.
• Assist with implementing and monitoring quality systems and procedures, including CAPA, change controls, and training.
• Review protocols, procedures, data, reports, and other documents for compliance with regulatory requirements, project plans, methods, and SOPs.
• Communicate significant quality issues to the supervisor and collaborate effectively with scientific and client staff.
• Meet quality and productivity metrics while performing work safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Relevant study in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science, or a comparable directly related field is preferred.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
• Ability to learn and retain new tasks and associated processes.
• Ability to complete work under speed or productivity quotas and communicate effectively with scientific staff.
