Contracts & Legal Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas, United States; early US morning availability is required for collaboration with Belgium-based legal colleagues.

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and close NDAs, order forms, and customer, partner, and vendor agreements from first draft through signature.
• Review and finalize AI-generated redlines and clause extractions before sending contracts to counterparties.
• Own contract automation, clause libraries, templates, and agreement playbooks.
• Manage intake, repository, renewals, approvals, terminations, and contract metrics.
• Coach commercial teams on standard terms and redlines so routine deals can progress efficiently.
• Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, HR, Product, and Marketing on CLM migrations and AI-driven legal operations projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in contracts, legal operations, or deal desk within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial agreements with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Technical contract fluency covering security addenda, SLAs, API and integration terms, and OEM agreements.
• Working knowledge of data protection, IP/IT law, and corporate matters.
• AI fluency is required, including daily use of LLM tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, prompt creation, workflow automation, and review of AI-generated contract content.
• Experience with CLM platforms such as DocuSign or CRM and ticketing tools such as Salesforce or Jira is advantageous.
