Cybersecurity Technical Manager

Location: Onsite in Yokohama, Japan

What you will do

• Lead a technical cybersecurity team supporting the growth of cybersecurity services in Japan.
• Translate complex cybersecurity and compliance requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Define project scopes, develop technical proposals, and support project delivery.
• Connect clients, sales, and engineering teams throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Represent hirify.global in customer meetings, seminars, and industry organization discussions.
• Manage 3–4 direct reports.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in TIC, compliance services, or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and product-security regulations and standards, including CRA, RED-DA, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, EN 303 645, or EN 18031.
• Ability to translate client requirements into clear technical solutions, project scopes, and proposals.
• Confident communication with customers, senior stakeholders, seminars, and industry organizations.
• Native or near-native Japanese proficiency, JLPT N1.
• English proficiency at TOEIC 860+ or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Project management or cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, or CEH.
• Experience developing technical proposals, estimating costs, and managing project profitability with P&L awareness.
