Strategic Advisory Services Senior Consultant (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Deliver large and complex strategic advisory engagements for technical, management, and executive-level stakeholders.
• Assess and develop cybersecurity and incident response programs to improve organizational security posture.
• Develop and facilitate scenarios that exercise customers’ incident response capabilities.
• Prepare and deliver written and verbal reports, presentations, observations, and recommendations.
• Identify emerging cybersecurity trends and communicate government and private-sector perspectives.
• Contribute to thought leadership, methodologies, and internal programs.

Requirements

• 4–10 years of experience in one or more relevant areas, including security consulting, security program development, security operations, risk analysis, cybersecurity policy, or public and government affairs.
• Experience addressing technical and operational cybersecurity issues, including controls, architecture, organizational alignment, and policy.
• Experience developing, managing, or implementing security programs, including SOC, CSIRT, Fusion Center, or related initiatives.
• Ability to analyze cybersecurity and organizational risks and communicate findings to senior leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and with teams.
• A relevant BA/BS degree is expected for academic-background candidates; equivalent military experience, work experience, or training may be considered.

• Experience working with government organizations or entities closely connected to governments.
• Ability to manage complex strategic tasks independently and coordinate multiple projects.
• Availability to travel for client engagements up to 30% of the time, sometimes with less than three weeks’ notice.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
