What you will do

• Lead federal tax compliance and consulting services for life sciences and other commercial clients.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and advise on corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC 740.
• Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and provide client recommendations.
• Oversee tax planning, complex tax research, business transactions, and coordination with specialty tax practices.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, collections, and client profitability.
• Grow the New England life sciences practice through networking, proposals, market positioning, and new business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; a master's or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA or JD required.
• 15+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm; relevant industry experience is considered.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills, together with strong ethical judgment and commitment to quality.
