Salary: $142,700–$214,030 in Uniondale, NY; $162,200–$222,960 in New York, NY.

What you will do

• Deliver federal tax compliance and consulting services for industry-focused clients.
• Lead day-to-day tax relationships and advise middle-market and multinational clients.
• Consult on corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, ASC 740, and special projects.
• Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and recommend solutions.
• Coordinate with state and local, high-net-worth, international, R&D, credits, and incentives tax practices.
• Manage staffing, billing, collections, profitability, business development, and team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, business, or a related field; a master’s or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA or JD required.
• 8+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.
