Tax Principal - Health Care Industry

What you will do

• Lead federal tax compliance and consulting services for health care clients and manage day-to-day tax relationships.
• Advise on corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, ASC 740, tax planning, and complex business transactions.
• Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and provide client recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state and local tax, high-net-worth, international, research and development, credits, and incentives matters.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, collections, profitability, and business process improvement initiatives.
• Build internal and external relationships, support proposals and market strategy, and mentor and develop associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA or JD required.
• 15+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm, with relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Advanced software and Microsoft Suite skills, along with high ethical standards and a commitment to quality.
