Senior Fund Accountant (Private Equity)

What you will do

• Administer private equity fund clients and deliver accounting and non-accounting tasks within agreed timelines and client KPIs.
• Build relationships with investment advisors, clients, investors, financial institutions, and internal teams.
• Prepare and review complex accounts under UK, US, and Luxembourg GAAP/IFRS standards, including bookkeeping and cash management.
• Maintain investment and portfolio records, process purchases and disposals, record income, and review valuations and complex investment transactions.
• Calculate investor calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest, and maintain related accounting records.
• Coordinate investor, tax, AIFMD, and Solvency II reporting while identifying process improvements and managing operational risks.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA preferred; partially qualified candidates or candidates with at least two years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Familiarity with UK, US, and Luxembourg GAAPs and IFRS.
• Understanding of Guernsey company, POI, and partnership laws, with the ability to follow applicable legal developments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including confidence communicating with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, deadline-management, and professional-judgment skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; knowledge of Investran is advantageous.
