Principal HW System Architect (SoC)

Location: 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands; onsite, as remote work is not available

What you will do

• Translate customer and standards-body requirements into SoC architectures and detailed target specifications.
• Define connectivity SoC architectures optimized for low power consumption, compact system size, and low cost.
• Develop concepts and IP blocks, including external IP selection and vendor relationships.
• Drive feasibility assessments for new product platforms and evaluate SoC performance through simulation.
• Create objective specifications, datasheets, verification plans, and production test plans.
• Monitor related technologies, market trends, and competitive developments.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
• Detailed system-definition or concept-engineering experience in the semiconductor industry, with a proven background as a system architect.
• Strong digital-design knowledge and experience with embedded SoC architectures involving microcontrollers, DSP, RF, and mixed-signal analog content.
• Understanding of IC design and manufacturing processes, embedded systems, and embedded software architectures.
• System-level knowledge of low-power wireless systems and protocols such as Bluetooth and WiFi.
• Fluent English and ability to work onsite in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
