What you will do
- Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for real-time medical imaging, monitoring, and connected care devices.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, and release.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards and contribute to design and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
- Estimate effort, support sprint and release planning, and manage backlogs in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, QA, and regulatory teams while documenting software, interfaces, tests, risks, and technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of embedded software development experience on resource-constrained microcontroller platforms.
- Strong C++ and object-oriented analysis and design skills, including SOLID principles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and complete embedded software project lifecycles.
- Experience with CMake, connectivity solutions such as BLE, Wi-Fi, and cellular technologies, and Git-based workflows.
- Knowledge of medical device standards including ISO 13485 and IEC 62304, plus experience with CI/CD, Docker, scripting, quality tools, documentation, and traceability.
