What you will do
- Lead federal tax compliance, consulting, and advisory services for healthcare industry clients.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and advise middle-market and multinational organizations on tax matters.
- Consult on corporate tax projects, including FAS 109 and FIN 48, and respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries.
- Coordinate complex matters with state and local, high-net-worth, international, research and development, credits, and incentives specialists.
- Oversee tax planning, engagement staffing, billing, collections, and client profitability.
- Develop the healthcare tax practice through business development, market strategy, recruiting, mentoring, and team leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; a master's or advanced degree is desirable.
- CPA or JD required.
- 15+ years of experience delivering tax compliance and consulting services in a professional services firm or relevant industry.
- 5+ years of supervisory, mentoring, and counseling experience.
- Experience serving healthcare industry clients.
- Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication, software, and Microsoft Suite skills.
