Data Center Delivery Crew Lead (Logistics)

Location: On-site in Sterling, Virginia, USA; travel to sites within roughly a 50-mile radius

Salary: USD 22–25 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate delivery crews, schedules, equipment, PPE, and job-readiness procedures for data center sites.
• Serve as the primary on-site coordinator, lead pre-task briefings, and enforce safety and customer requirements.
• Oversee loading, unloading, inspection, staging, and physical handling of inbound and outbound freight.
• Verify shipping documents, part numbers, quantities, and equipment condition; escalate discrepancies and damage.
• Lead the unpackaging, placement, and positioning of server racks in line with customer-specific SOPs.
• Supervise close-out activities, including cleanup, packaging disposal, documentation, and hazard removal.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or data center services.
• Leadership and on-site coordination experience in high-value, high-compliance environments.
• Customer-facing experience, direct vendor management experience, and the ability to coordinate across operations, sales, and service teams.
• Strong SOP development, communication, problem-solving, quality-control, safety, and compliance skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, move pallets, operate pallet jacks and material-handling equipment, and work on-site in data center environments for extended periods.
• Ability to drive to and from work sites within roughly a 50-mile radius of Sterling, Virginia.
