Location: Northern New Jersey territory, United States; up to 70% travel required

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 annually

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and approved medical assets.
  • Build professional relationships and conduct balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange with dermatology healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • Evaluate emerging scientific and treatment landscape data to identify trends, unmet needs, educational gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide scientific support for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies and respond to unsolicited clinical and research inquiries.
  • Collect actionable insights that inform medical strategy, asset planning, and cross-functional decisions.
  • Collaborate with MSL field partners, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, and other role-appropriate internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or Advanced Practice Provider qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated success as an MSL.
  • Strong scientific and therapeutic expertise in research, data analysis, clinical practice, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration.
  • Ability to support the Northern New Jersey territory with up to 70% travel.
  • Valid US Driver’s License required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.

Nice to have

  • Residency or fellowship experience.
  • Knowledge or experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
  • Clinical, research, or pharmaceutical work experience.
  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI.
