What you will do

  • Screen potential patients for clinical-trial eligibility in collaboration with physicians and other providers.
  • Present trial concepts, support informed consent, enroll participants, and coordinate protocol-compliant patient care.
  • Dispense investigational drugs, provide patient education, and maintain investigational drug accountability.
  • Assess patients for condition changes, adverse events, concomitant medications, treatment response, and protocol compliance.
  • Maintain accurate trial documentation and data entry, regulatory files, billing information, and protocol-specific orders.
  • Support recruitment, monitoring and auditing visits, staff and patient training, and adverse-event reporting.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a clinical or scientific discipline required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in a clinical or scientific discipline, preferably in oncology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and strong communication, organization, multitasking, time-management, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced oncology or hematology clinic and perform basic clinical assessments.
  • Ability to work onsite in Fairfax, Virginia, in a traditional office and clinical environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Oncology experience.
  • SOCRA or ACRP certification.
  • Experience working with physicians.
