What you will do

• Serve as a key point of contact for clients’ Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, and Month End Close cycles.
• Oversee and review client accounts payable and accounts receivable teams.
• Process and record journal entries for expenses, fixed assets, accruals, payroll, and inventory transactions.
• Prepare bank and general ledger reconciliations and monthly financial statements.
• Perform month-over-month variance analysis and actual-to-budget analysis.
• Identify operational improvements, document repeatable methodologies, and enhance month-end close efficiency through technology and integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate status, issues, conflicts, and priorities across engagement teams.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and make sound analytical decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a changing environment.
• Entry-level candidates requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated accounting systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, BlackLine, Bill.com, or Tallie.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of a CPA.
• Experience in public accounting, consulting, or another professional services environment.
