Manager, Precision Medicine Operations

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Clinical Laboratory Study Managers across multiple therapeutic areas, including immuno-oncology.
• Build laboratory databases and operational plans covering clinical trial sample collection, kits, testing, and logistics.
• Monitor acquisition of clinical samples, including human tissue, bone marrow aspirate, whole blood, plasma, and serum, while ensuring compliance with informed consent permissions.
• Coordinate with central and specialty laboratories, clinical study teams, CROs, data management, and logistics stakeholders to resolve sample-related issues.
• Oversee study start-up, closeout, and lifecycle activities supporting samples and testing.
• Enable the capture, blinding, transfer, and quality management of sample and testing data through appropriate specifications and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 8 years of pharmaceutical experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments.
• At least 5 years of clinical trial experience focused on clinical sample collection.
• Extensive experience in clinical laboratory operations, biospecimen logistics, and/or clinical study management.
• Strong understanding of the technical, clinical, and strategic aspects of laboratory operations delivery.
• Ability to work on site in Uxbridge 3 days per week.
