TL;DR

Focus on developing clinical operations teams, sourcing staff for projects, and driving trial programs to successful completion in a matrix environment.

Location: United States of America

Annualized minimum base pay: $110,000 USD; actual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency.

What you will do

  • Manage clinical operations employee resources and projections to help project teams meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve clinical management and monitoring processes across Phase I–IV trials.
  • Maintain audit preparedness, including training records, processes, and SOP compliance.
  • Develop and manage departmental performance metrics, training programs, and regional training standards.
  • Source staff for projects and help move projects and programs forward.
  • Mentor, coach, and train clinical operations employees.

Requirements

  • Recognized undergraduate degree required; Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Nursing, or a related discipline preferred.
  • At least 6 years of clinical research experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience with clinical operations personnel.
  • Proven ability to guide staff through major changes, encourage teamwork, and develop team capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and lead projects to completion.
  • Previous CRA onsite monitoring experience and availability for up to 25% overnight travel; additional travel may be required based on project needs.
