Industrial Painter (Manufacturing)

Location: Hitchcock, Texas, United States; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers.
• Mix and match paint colors and apply coatings with brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Inspect finished work for imperfections and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Handle materials with a forklift and assemble components after painting.
• Follow workplace safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in industrial painting or a related field.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance.
• Ability to operate a forklift for material handling tasks.
• Precision measuring skills and basic math abilities for measurements and calculations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with auto body repair techniques.
