Engineering Manager (Flow Control Engineering)

Location: Melbourne VIC, Australia; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop the Engineering Team within the JCA organization.
• Provide senior technical support and resolve complex field issues at plants and customer sites.
• Perform detailed failure analysis, investigations, reporting, and solution implementation with commercial awareness.
• Oversee application requests, product selection, engineering calculations, proposals, specifications, and customer solutions.
• Set and measure team and individual KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and support workforce planning, recruitment, and development.
• Manage engineering governance, process and cultural change, continuous improvement, and team-building initiatives across Oceania.

Requirements

• At least 5–10 years of experience with plant process systems and equipment design.
• Knowledge of product characteristics and design requirements.
• Experience with CAD and office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong team management, communication, problem-solving, and commercial awareness skills.
• Ability to provide technical support remotely and face to face when required.
