Senior Engineering Manager (Centrifugal Compressors)

What you will do

• Lead product development, design optimization, regionalization, and localization of the OFC platform for global markets.
• Translate customer, market, and application requirements into product specifications and development objectives.
• Manage, coach, and develop the local engineering team, setting priorities and allocating resources.
• Drive prototype development, product validation, performance improvement, reliability, cost competitiveness, and quality.
• Support manufacturing readiness, pilot builds, production ramp-up, industrialization, and technical issue resolution.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on technical decisions, best practices, resource synergy, and product roadmaps.

Requirements

• More than 15 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 10 years with a master’s degree in centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
• Experience with centrifugal compressors, oil-free compressors, or HVACR products.
• Knowledge of aerodynamic design, rotor dynamic analysis, centrifugal compressor structural design, prototyping, and verification.
• Experience with Lean NPD, production ramp-up, and product industrialization.
• Strong leadership, team development, ownership, decision-making, execution, and continuous-improvement capabilities.
• Effective communication skills in English are required.
