What you will do
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery for one or more products or services and own the service roadmap where applicable.
- Partner with Product Management, designers, business stakeholders, and vendors on roadmap planning, technical feasibility, release governance, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure teams can design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while maintaining delivery quality.
- Drive engineering quality, operational stability, incident handling, compliance, security, and continuous improvement.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, technical debt, vendors, SaaS and managed service contracts.
- Oversee technology budgets, staffing, recruitment, performance management, coaching, and team well-being.
Requirements
- Experience as a senior software engineer or technical solution leader, with a record of leading technology delivery alongside product and business counterparts.
- Strong experience with agile methodologies, DevOps, modern engineering practices, operational performance, delivery, and security.
- Proficiency in Alibaba Cloud infrastructure management, including Landing Zone setup, account and permission frameworks, cloud-native services, and cloud cost optimization.
- Extensive enterprise system integration architecture experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, message queues, and SFTP.
- Experience with the China e-commerce ecosystem, including Taobao/Tmall, WeChat, JD.com, Douyin, OMS, and WMS.
- Knowledge of cyber defense and data compliance regulations, with the ability to work with security and data privacy teams.
