Network Controller (GNSS)

Location: On-site in Singapore, Singapore office; rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment

What you will do

• Monitor the Network Control Center, remote-site data collection, central computer operations, data distribution, and satellite uplinking.
• Respond to data alarms, isolate faults, resolve incidents, and document alarm conditions and corrective actions.
• Perform data archiving, plotting, system-performance statistics, and reporting support.
• Assist with changes to network, computer, and data communications equipment and coordinate planned outages with providers and clients.
• Maintain operational procedures and documentation, propose productivity improvements, and provide customer support.
• Respond to telephone calls, faxes, and emails while observing network security and safety measures.

Requirements

• Diploma and college coursework in information technology.
• Knowledge of computer networking and networked computer systems.
• Computer literacy with common office software and Windows or Red Hat operating systems.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment.
