What you will do
- Design, develop, and implement ETL and ELT pipelines for large volumes of data.
- Build dimensional data models using star schemas and slowly changing dimensions.
- Write complex SQL for data warehouse environments and integrate data into analytical models.
- Deliver business intelligence reporting warehouses using tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Birst.
- Orchestrate complex workflows and exception handling with UNIX/Linux and shell scripting.
- Monitor data quality, maintain data integrity, and establish consistent data definitions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ETL/ELT development using Informatica, Talend, DMS, or Syncsort.
- 5+ years of experience with dimensional data modeling, including star schemas and SCD1.
- 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL in data warehouse environments.
- 5+ years of experience delivering business intelligence reporting warehouses.
- 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, shell scripting, Spark, and Python or Spark SQL.
- At least 2 years of experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Python, or Jupyter.
