Agent - Ocean Export

Location: Alps Ave, Singapore; applicants must currently reside in Singapore

What you will do

• Process international ocean export shipments according to company procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain department process flows and prepare or update customer standard operating procedures.
• Screen customer creditworthiness and denied parties before shipment.
• Coordinate accurate and timely client and vendor billing, documentation, invoicing, and export permits.
• Maintain relationships with shipping lines, trucking companies, CFS providers, and other suppliers.
• Respond to emails within 24 hours and voicemails within one hour, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum tertiary education.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fluent English and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive approach, strong organization, accuracy, and timely execution.
• Good computer skills, including Excel and Word, plus problem-solving ability.
• Must currently reside in Singapore.
