Tax Associate Manager (Tax)

Location: Istanbul Branch, based in the Akmerkez Office

What you will do

• Oversee tax compliance obligations and coordinate CIT, VAT, WHT, and stamp duty declarations and filings.
• Manage and coordinate external and internal tax audits.
• Monitor local and international tax legislation, identify tax risks, and recommend resolutions.
• Optimize tax compliance procedures and processes in collaboration with finance teams.
• Support monthly closing and provide oversight of local quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
• Manage e-ledger submissions, VAT refunds, investment incentive certificate follow-up, and transfer pricing report preparation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of tax audit experience in a Big Four firm.
• At least 7 years of tax and accounting experience in multinational corporations or reputable accounting and audit firms.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, or Business with a focus on Accounting or Tax.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting, tax legislation, and practice.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or another recognized professional qualification.
• Experience in food manufacturing or agro-trading.
• Knowledge of SAP and US GAAP.
