IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Advisory Senior Consultant (SOC Focus) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Frisco, Texas, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $86,700–$131,570 per year

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management teams to understand business systems and identify financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess and optimize IT risk across cybersecurity, IT strategy and governance, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Execute internal audits and IT control assessments covering ITGC, application controls, third-party risk, cybersecurity, and SOC reporting.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit workpapers, executive summaries, final reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and help develop other team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT audit or cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work directly with clients and manage multiple aspects of consulting engagements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Frisco, Texas, USA.

Nice to have

• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA certification.
• Experience as a client-serving professional in a consulting firm.
• Experience with SOC engagements.
• Cloud audit experience and certifications.
