IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant

Location: Hybrid role in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, USA

Salary: $110,870–$166,340 per year

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management teams to identify and manage financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess IT risk across cybersecurity, IT strategy and governance, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Develop audit programs and execute internal audits and IT control assessments covering ITGC, application controls, third-party risk, and SOC reporting.
• Evaluate processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare executive summaries, final reports, and engagement work papers, and present findings to internal and external audiences.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and help develop other team members through knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer information systems, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT audit or cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Experience serving clients in a consulting firm is desired.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, or CPA certification is preferred.
