Food Safety Compliance Manager

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and train teams on food safety, sanitation, and quality systems.
• Conduct facility risk assessments, food safety audits, sanitation audits, quality systems audits, and cultural assessments.
• Review audit deficiencies and corrective actions, provide reports, and monitor remediation progress.
• Facilitate HACCP, GMP, allergen control, lot traceability, food safety training, SQF, GFSI, and AIB compliance.
• Monitor cleaning schedules, sanitation procedures, chemical usage, and chemical safety.
• Coach facility management and lead manufacturing groups during regulatory audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least two years of bakery operations, quality, food safety, or sanitation supervisory experience.
• HACCP, PCQI, Food Defense Coordinator, and GFSI certification or training.
• Sanitation Essentials, AIB Sanitation/Food Safety residence course, or similar training or certification.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
