Location: Onsite in Rancho Dominguez, California, United States. Overnight shift from 2:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Salary: $25.62–$32.02 per hour, equivalent to approximately $4,099–$5,123 per month, plus eligibility for a targeted $3,500 annual bonus.

What you will do

• Conduct finished-product testing and bake tests according to recipe specifications, evaluating product performance.
• Perform pH and other technical analyses, calibrate instruments, and maintain good laboratory practices.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, labels, manufacturing products, production lines, and plant operations for quality compliance.
• Maintain test records, spreadsheets, databases, retain samples, hold logs, and SAP product status updates.
• Support root cause analysis, provide technical guidance, and follow corrective and preventive action plans with R&D and production teams.
• Maintain and clean the bake laboratory while meeting required turnaround times and continuous improvement objectives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar quality control or bakery setting.
• Bachelor's degree in quality control technology, microbiology, food science, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• SQF, GMP, and SOP training is strongly preferred.
• Ability to follow PPE and dress-code policies and perform physical work, including frequent standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to machinery, noise, dust, fumes, uneven ground, and temperature extremes.
