Sr Commercialization Manager

Salary: $139,300–$191,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex commercialization projects and strategic initiatives from concept through product launch.
• Manage 1–3 critical Big Bet projects, aligning cross-functional teams, timelines, and business objectives.
• Lead Category Portfolio Management Reviews, Stage Gate reviews, and prioritization processes.
• Evaluate portfolio tradeoffs, identify interdependencies and risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Supply Chain and business leaders on strategic planning and long-term portfolio direction.
• Coach and develop Commercialization Project Leaders, Senior CPLs, and Category Commercialization Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Food Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, commercialization, product development, or a related area.
• Experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercialization, innovation, product development, and Stage Gate methodologies.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects and portfolios, with strong business and financial acumen.
• Proven leadership, coaching, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Experience with hirify.global Commercialization Process or similar frameworks.
• Experience leading large-scale portfolio reviews and strategic prioritization processes.
• Direct people management experience and advanced expertise in innovation strategy, portfolio optimization, or organizational change management.
