Field Service Technician

Location: Gladstone, Queensland, Australia; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Strip, assess, repair, and test mechanical seals, couplings, and associated equipment.
• Schedule repair jobs and complete service documentation, inspection plans, reporting, and compliance records.
• Collect operational information to support engineering material specifications for unusual or previously unquoted duties.
• Prepare repair quotations and work with document control systems.
• Assist with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and reliability solutions alongside technical personnel.
• Attend client visits at oil, gas, and mine sites and conduct training for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Fitter/Turner or Machinist.
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
• Ability to take responsibility, remain accountable, achieve objectives, and deliver results.
• Ability to support and mentor colleagues when required.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement techniques and participate in continuous improvement programs.
