Compensation range: $143,435.23–$163,925.98 per year

What you will do

• Manage Program Managers and oversee planning, design, engineering, construction, bidding, scheduling, budgeting, funding, and closeout across education programs.
• Direct the development of project scopes, schedules, budgets, priorities, and stakeholder-aligned delivery plans.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, costs, funding allocations, grants compliance, and financial closeout.
• Develop funding strategies involving state matching grants, private grants, and nonprofit partners.
• Resolve cost overruns through value engineering and manage change-order negotiations and contract review support.
• Present executive reports, oversee stakeholder communications, manage lessons learned, and develop staff training and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of full-time professional experience managing and administering programs and projects, including scope development, planning and design, budgeting, funding allocation, and closeout.
• At least 6 years of experience managing programs for a public or educational agency with responsibility for coordinating complex activities.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
