Lead Cyber Security Engineer (Zscaler DLP)

What you will do

• Design and implement Zscaler DLP policies, including cloud application controls, file restrictions, and tenant controls.
• Lead the full DLP lifecycle from requirements and design through build, testing, deployment, and rollout.
• Partner with business, security, architecture, and engineering stakeholders to define and enforce data protection requirements.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to DLP alerts and potential data exfiltration events.
• Provide L3 troubleshooting and escalation support for DLP and Zscaler issues.
• Drive automation, control optimization, reporting, and improvements to engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Zscaler DLP and deep knowledge of data loss prevention, data classification, and data protection principles.
• Understanding of network security, including proxies, firewalls, and traffic analysis.
• Experience with Azure security technologies such as AIP, MIP, and MCAS, as well as enterprise DLP tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or data protection engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SANS certification.
• Experience with secure email, endpoint DLP, or CASB solutions.
• Exposure to security automation and scripting.
• Experience in regulated environments such as FFIEC, PCI-DSS, or SOX.
